I've been to presentations of these filters, osmosis and they play with fear, people are often fooled by offers that will certainly not be met, tell lies and half truths and perform tests to the water taken out of context, the final conclusion is that the water coming out of the tap is a real poison is not so, but we know that marketing companies are aggressive and sometimes unscrupulous.
When the prospect is already convinced that their water is no good (for the millions of children die each year from lack of potable water would, however, liquid gold) is offered the "solution" of paying a bundle through a filter and also be hooked to a share "in eternum" with the company.
